Can this be left outdoors permanently?
Yes, in a covered or semi-covered position. Fully exposed positions will reduce lifespan, but coir handles UK rain and frost well. For exposed positions, we recommend replacing annually.
Does this mat release fibres over time?
New coir mats may shed a small number of loose fibres initially — this is normal and will reduce after the first few uses. A quick vacuum after installation removes any loose material.
